Established in 1984, Torrance Bakery has become a leader as well as a cornerstone of Downtown Torrance. Over the years, Torrance Bakery has exhibited that it will be here for the long haul as it continues to progress and find success; Torrance Bakery was one of the first bakeries in the nation to pioneer computer-generated images on its decorated cakes. In its application, Torrance Bakery exhibited its excellence in watching trends and responding by staying on the frontlines of the retail bakery industry, even winning several awards including "The Best Place to Work" by the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce in 2007 and the National Retail Bakery of the Year award by Modern Baking Magazine in 2006.
