Parking is available on El Prado Ave for guests. We also have a parking area behind the bakery for guests to use.
Unfortunately, we do not offer Wi-Fi or wireless internet at this time.
As there are many factors including time of day, day of week and time of year, it is impossible to give an exact wait time. We try our best to wait on our guests in a timely and efficient manner as we know how important time is. During the weekends and holidays, we ask that you give ample time to purchase products and pick up orders.
We recommend using our website to order. Please note there is a minimum of 2 days’ notice for bakery items and 3 days’ notice for custom cakes. You can also come in person or call us at 310-320-2722.
Yes, we can print an edible image to be placed on your cake!
Your picture will be printed using food coloring, so the final product will have more of a matte finish due to the moisture of the icing and the colors may slightly differ. Bright colors will not transfer properly, for example, gold will print mustard yellow. For best results, ensure your picture is the best quality possible. All imperfections will be transferred onto the final product.
Please note that black colors may turn into a shade of green due to moisture in the cake.

We do not offer shaped cakes.
We can ice a cake in fondant and do fondant dots and stripes, but we do not make any fondant figures.

Same day orders can only be placed over the phone and we do require a minimum 1 hour turn around time. This will be longer during our busier times. Same day orders are subject to our product availability. Custom cake order for same day are dependent upon our production schedule and may not be able to be accommodated.

While we try our best to move our pickup line quickly, you may have to wait while we assist customers who arrived before you.
All orders require full payment at the time the order is placed.
All tier cake orders must be booked with a $100 nonrefundable deposit and finalized and paid for in full two weeks before pickup or delivery.

Cash, Visa, MasterCard and American Express are accepted. We do not accept checks. We are also unable to accept EBT cards.
In accordance with our credit card agreement, the person using the card must be the card owner. In most instances, you will be required to show the credit card with ID upon pickup.
We understand unexpected circumstances happen, and you may need to cancel. For most orders, if cancelled more than 48 hours before pickup, you will receive a full refund. If the order is cancelled within 48 hours of the pickup, no refund shall be issued.
Please note that tier cakes follow different guidelines. Cancellations within 8 to 14 days of pickup will result in a refund minus the $100 non-refundable deposit. Cancellations within 0 to 7 days before pickup will result in no refund.

Unfortunately, we do not offer shipping.
Delivery is available for tier cakes larger than 75 servings and orders over $200. We do not deliver to residential homes. Delivery times and dates are subject to availability. Delivery charges are based on the city the product is being delivered to.

You can contact weddings@torrancebakery.com to set up a cake tasting appointment. We offer appointments Monday through Saturday. It can fill up quickly so we suggest 3 to 6 months prior to your event making an appointment.
We do accept silk flowers, but we do not handle fresh flowers. Silk flowers may be dropped off to us at least one week in advance.
A nutritional guide is not available at this time.
Because all of our products are made in the same facility, we cannot say that any of our products are gluten free. We do have certain items that are Gluten Friendly, which are the Chocolate Fudge Chews with Walnuts and our Maple Pecan Chews. We do not recommend these products for people with a severe reaction to gluten.
Currently, we do not offer Vegan products.
While many of our products are not made with nuts or nut ingredients, we cannot guarantee against cross contamination as we do have nuts on premises. If it is a severe allergy, we recommend not eating our products.

If you would like to make a donation request, please email tami@torrancebakery.com. Include the name of your organization, your donation request, date of your event and contact information. Because the bakery receives an overwhelming amount of donation requests for great causes, we do have to limit what we donate. Please keep in mind that our donations of end-of-day products are reserved for those groups in need of food such as homeless shelters and food pantries. Gift certificate donations will be honored on a first-come, first served basis, as well as by merit. We do require a two-week minimum for all requests. We will respond to your request by email within 1 week of submission.
